Gray's Lake Park

Driving down from St. Paul, we crossed the absolutely flat fields of northern Iowa and arrived in Des Moines.

Had a little time left in the afternoon, so we went to Gray's Lake Park not far from our hotel.  This was pretty cool and close to the uptown area.  There was a 2-mile circumference walk around the lake which we took.  Relaxing from the walk, we just sat on the grass and watched the boaters and enjoyed the beautiful day.  Exciting, huh?

We will do something more exciting tomorrow.
