A Lazy Day in Tahoe

After breakfast, Joan insisted on reading the San Francisco Chronicle in peace and quiet.  We relaxed in our room for awhile -- Joan with the paper and me with the Sunday talk shows.

We then took a nice walk through Heavenly Village which was a shopping area.  We browsed through an art gallery which featured 5 different artists......one that we really liked had beautiful paintings of Riverside Park in NYC and different sights in France.  We toyed with the idea of seeing a movie, but Joan remembered seeing something about the Tahoe Choir performing this afternoon, so off we went.

The show was Radio Daze featuring songs from the 30's, 40's and 50's and was very entertaining.

Then we went down to the beach just a few blocks behind our hotel and walked for awhile, then sat on a bench watching a duck and some seagulls and listened to a guitar player in the background.

We have no photos from today because I inadvertantly took videos instead of snapshots -- DON"T ask me how!

Here are a few shots that wouldn't fit on yesterday's blog.  Enjoy!
